It depends mostly on the type of aid. A walking frame or a rollator will usually take a basket or a tray for carrying things hands-free, and many rollators have a bag or pouch that fits under the seat. A walking stick or a crutch takes a clip-on bag instead, since there is no frame to rest a tray on.
Ferrules, the rubber tips on the ends of sticks, crutches and frames, count as accessories too. They wear down with use, and a fresh one restores the grip that keeps the aid steady on the floor.
Fit is the thing to check first. Frame width, tube diameter and strap length all vary between makes, so a "universal fit" basket or bag does not always sit as well as one made for your model. If you are not sure which of the different types of walking aids you have, it is worth working that out before you buy an accessory for it.
Yes, a little. Weight that sits high or off to one side, on a stick handle or a single rollator hook, pulls the aid off balance and makes it harder to steer. Keeping the load low and central, and not overfilling a tray with heavy shopping, keeps the aid stable rather than working against you.
Wipe trays and baskets down regularly, check bag fastenings for wear, and replace a ferrule once its grip has worn smooth. These are small jobs, but they keep the aid safe underfoot.
