Stockport Foodbank Donations

A6 Mobility Shop Stockport Foodbank Donations

Thank you so much to friends and customers of A6 Mobility Shop for your donations to Chelwood Foodbank Plus in Stockport.

We’re sure your donations are very much appreciated, especially during the Coronavirus pandemic. We were overwhelmed by the quantity of donations in the shop and the volunteers at the foodbank were very grateful for your contributions.

Chelwood Foodbank Plus work in 4 locations in Stockport and South Manchester; our donation was to Chelwood Baptist Church in Cheadle Hulme.

As an independent organisation, Chelwood aren’t part of a chain of foodbanks. This means all of their contributions are from the community rather than from supermarkets who may have agreements with larger national charities. This is great because it means they can help those that need it most without the confines of red tape and unrealistic administrative policies. However it does also mean that community contributions such as yours are even more important.

We look forward to working with Chelwood again in the future. To see how you can donate or volunteer at Chelwood Foodbank, visit chelwoodfoodbankplus.org
