Pride GoGo E Mobility Scooter Review

Mobility scooters give those with mobility restrictions the gift of freedom and independence. Yet, for many, these scooters come with a premium price tag that is simply out of reach.

That’s why we’re especially excited about Pride Mobility’s GoGo E travel scooter. It’s changing the mobility game by making urban adventures a reality to a much wider audience—without breaking the bank or compromising on performance. This mobility scooter offers the reliability and performance of a Pride mobility scooter at a much more affordable price.

Travel Convenience From Pride Mobility

Firstly, a quick introduction to Pride Mobility, the makers of the GoGo E. With close to 40 years of engineering expertise, Pride is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of mobility scooters. They’re known for their innovative designs, reliability, and user comfort.

Pride have a best-in-class travel range that offers lightweight and convenient transportation at an affordable price point. One of the models in this range is the GoGo E.

Budget-Friendly Without Compromise

As we previously mentioned, the GoGo E is a very affordable option. In fact, this affordability is probably the scooter’s top selling point. But don’t get us wrong, the modest price point doesn’t come at the expense of features, functionality, or quality. It’s a solid and dependable mobility aid that delivers a comfortable ride with an impressive range.

Unpacking the Pride GoGo-e’s Standout Features

Let’s take a closer look at what exactly this scooter has to offer.

Lightweight and Compact Design

The GoGo E is designed with portability and convenience in mind. Its smaller footprint and lightweight construction make it easy to transport and store. At just 37 kg (without batteries), it makes for suitable to lifting into and out of vehicles. Be aware however, the GoGo E does not disassemble and the entire base needs to be lifted in a single piece.

The seat is removable, and the tiller can fold for compact storage. This is great for those with limited space at home or those who enjoy travelling and want to bring their mobility scooter along.

Easy Urban Navigation

The GoGo E is a pleasure to operate. Steering is easy, and well-designed and easy-to-use controls allow you to accelerate to a legal maximum pavement speed of 4 mph. Its 4-wheel design gives it good stability, and with a turning radius of just 1250 mm, travelling has never been easier in tight spaces like shops or hallways.

Impressive Range and Battery Life

Equipped with two 12 Ah batteries, the GoGo E will take you up to around 12 miles on a single charge (although the distance may vary depending on weight, terrain, and battery condition). This allows you to confidently navigate your daily errands or social outings without worrying about running out of power. The 2-amp off-board charger ensures easy recharging, keeping you ready for your next adventure.

Comfortable and Convenient Cruising

During your extended journeys, comfort and practicality are key considerations. Fortunately, GoGo E delivers in this regard. The cushioned and supportive seat provides a comfortable and smooth experience even on longer journeys. The flip-up and width-adjustable armrests allow for tailored seating, ensuring optimal comfort and support.

In addition, running errands is made easier by the GoGo E’s front-mounted storage basket. With room for personal belongings or small shopping items, it saves you from having to carry bags while you ride. The basket can also be removed if not required.

Is the GoGo E Your Ideal Mobility Scooter?

The Pride GoGo E mobility scooter is perfect for individuals seeking a cost-effective, easy-to-use 4-wheel scooter for urban travel. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a mobility solution for navigating paved paths, pavements, and indoor spaces. Although the seat can be removed, this mobility scooter does not disassemble and the entire base will have to lifted in a single piece to fit in a car boot. Please note that the GoGo E may not be the best option if you’re looking to venture into challenging outdoor environments.
